Design and Simulation of Box Type Sensor for the Detection of Bio-analytes Using Biodegradable Polymers

Biomaterials are low cost,easily transportable and biodegradable with time.Few exampls are cellulose,chitoson and gelatin. Here we used cellulose as a base material for designing box type sensor using Comsol Tool for the detection of bio-analytes such as engine oil,ethnal,gasoline and mercury.Results shown that differential deflection and resonant frequency as found among tested analytes.Highest deflection was observed for gasoline as compared to engine oil.It suggest that box type paper based sensor can be used for the comparision of different oil substances.It is also observed that highest resonant frequency was obtainted for gasoline and lowest resonant frequency for engine oil.
